Meet Amy

Working with persons with disabilities has come naturally to me. I worked as a job coach in college, behaviorist in group homes, a special education teacher, and autism supervisor. I started consulting with families a few years ago and have become increasingly interested in law. I am considering becoming a special education lawyer in the future. Furthermore, I currently teach at California State University, Long Beach in the Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Administration. More specifically, I enjoy teaching courses in the Education Specialist program and serving as a University Supervisor for students engaged in fieldwork.
